Audio Source Selection

Choose which camera's audio appears in the final export.

When Audio Source Selection Appears

The audio source selector is visible only when your group has two videos that both contain audio tracks. If only the main video or only the PiP has audio, Synclay uses the available audio automatically and the selector is hidden.

Choosing an Audio Source

  1. Open your project in the Project View.
  2. Locate the audio source selector in the controls.
  3. Choose "Main" to use the main camera's audio, or "PiP" to use the PiP camera's audio.
  4. The selection applies to both preview and export.
Tip: If one camera was closer to the engine or had a better microphone position, choose that camera's audio for the best sound quality in your export.
