Manual Grouping

Create, edit, and dissolve video groups when auto-detection needs a hand.

Creating a Group

When auto-grouping does not detect a pair automatically, you can create a group manually from any two videos in the List View.

  1. Click the Manual Group button to enter selection mode — this enables clicking on video cards to select them.
  2. Select the main video (this will be the full-frame background).
  3. Select a second video to add as PiP (picture-in-picture).
  4. Click the Group button to confirm the selection.
  5. The group card updates to show both videos.

Dissolving a Group

To break apart a group, enter Manual Group mode and regroup the individual cards with other videos.

  1. Click the Manual Group button to enter selection mode.
  2. Select the individual video cards you want to regroup with different videos.
  3. Click the Group button to confirm the new grouping.
Tip: Dissolving a group does not delete any files. Your videos remain in the folder — they just appear as separate entries in the List View.
